All of the below items free for to download on this page are supplementary to the 4+ million freely available words on The Actual Freedom Trust web site. They are optional extras ... luxury items, as it were. The directors of The Actual Freedom Trust have decided to now make them available for free. (1 July 2025)

Journals

The E-book version of Richard’s Journal is in the Microsoft Reader Format. The MS Reader allows you to adjust the font size for to your convenience in ‘Settings’. If you do not have Microsoft Reader installed on your computer, you can download it for free from The Actual Freedom Website at the following URL:

For Macbook and other formats the “.lit” file can be converted to “.mobi” with Calibre software in order to read it on the Amazon Kindle ebook reader.

The Table of Contents might not be accurately converted.

Another program for MacOS (or other) users to convert “.lit” files online into various different e-book formats is Zamzar, which is free to use and doesn’t need to be installed.

(Lite Version)

The Actual Freedom Trust has released a lite version of The Actual Freedom Web Site in zipped format (Updated 8.4.2025 ).

The Lite Version contains the whole of the Website including the selected correspondence according to topics but excludes the correspondence archives to mailing lists and web correspondents. That makes some of the links in this version of the website external links (which requires being on line).

  • You can use the search facility of Windows to find any word or phrase within the Actual Freedom-Lite website on your computer. To do this you click on the ‘Start’ button in the left bottom corner of your task bar, choose ‘Search’, then ‘For Files and Folders’ or ‘All Files and Folders’. In the ‘Search Results’ window, you type in the word or phrase you are looking for into the second box called ‘Containing text’ or ‘A word or phrase in the file’. Then click the arrow of the ‘Look in:’ box and choose ‘Browse’ to locate the Actual Freedom-Lite folder on your computer. You can search either the whole Actual Freedom-Lite website or further narrow down your search by clicking on the relevant file or folder inside the Actual Freedom-Lite website. After highlighting the folder click ‘OK’. Back in the original ‘Search Results’ window, click ‘Search Now’. When the result of your search comes up, select and open a file. When the file opens, you can then locate the word or phrase precisely by clicking ‘Edit’, then ‘Find’.
